A Pink and Gold Fall Shower - Baby Shower Inspirations by Itty Bitty Mini blog

With the Autumn / Fall season fast approaching I am bursting with ideas for pretty Baby Showers so prepare to see an array of color palettes and inspiration boards on the blog! Today we have a feminine Pink and Gold Fall Shower consisting of pale pastel pink hues and decadent gold touches and a beautiful idea for guests to create something for the baby too!

How to create this theme:
> Create some Autumnal magic with gold spun sugar desserts, gold dusted doughnuts and decorative cupcakes.
> Use gold painted leaves to decorate your party as well as painted fruit as features or place card holders.
> Add touches of pink with pretty teacups and crockery. 

> Create a mobile for the baby using different shades of pink and gold ribbons which each guest can add to a hoop and it can be later hung in the nursery room!

A Decadent Maleficent Inspired Party / Baby Shower Ideas by Itty Bitty Mini blog

If you haven't seen the new Disney Maleficent movie yet - you should! I loved it! It complimented the original animated Sleeping Beauty movie which was one of my favorites as a child. I was inspired by The Moors, the magical place where Maleficent and her fellow fairy folk live - and created a decadent party suitable for either a birthday party or baby shower based on the Maleficent movie and The Moors. 

There would be an outdoor setting and a color palette of creams, brown, metallic gold and copper as well as hints of black. There would be vintage chandeliers' hanging from a tree as the key feature and the scene would be decorated with mercury glass tealights'. Fruits such as pears, apples and pomegranates would be painted gold to use within table settings and decorating the dessert tables . Delicious desserts and drink glasses are can even be dusted with gold too.

The cake below is very inspired by Maleficent's wings and of course any guests who would like to wear fairy wings or Maleficent horns would be superb!

Today's beautiful Baby Shower is the prettiest pastel pink and blue color palette, just perfect for the Summer season and gender neutral baby showers. Butterflies flutter upon and tiered cake, escort cards are trimmed with lace as they hang within a vintage frame, oversized paper flowers decorate the space as tables are also adorned with larger blooms such as Peonies and Hydrangea! Key pieces to make this look work include a black and white striped table cloth or runner, add dashes of pink with flowers and napkins and don't forget to use the desserts and drinks to match too! You can use an array of pink tones from pastel to neon - have fun with it!
